Asus M70 hits the streets

Asus M70Asus M70What, the 640GB on Asus’s new G70 gaming lappie isn’t enough? Well, how about a whole terabyte of storage on their sharp new HD laptop, the M70?

Yep, you read that right. Asus’s new desktop replacement has got enough space to stash over 350 movies, hundreds of thousands of tunes and up to half a million photos.

On top of all that, you get a Blu–Ray drive for watching hi–def movies on the Full HD, 17in WUXGA screen. And when you shell out for one, you even get a free copy of Batman Begins to sate your appetite for eye–stroking flicks.

As well as all the HD wizardry, you’ll find an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 1.3MP webcam and up to 4GB of RAM.

The laptop, which was first announced back in April, will set you back for about £1,600. Certainly not cheap, but it will take the place of that knackered ME–running machine that passes for your home desktop.

Still, if you’re a bit strapped for cash, you could always plump for a pink Eee Box instead.

You have said the model is on sale now? The Asus M70SA-7U011G was supposed to come out July. It was scrapped by asus at the last minute. It replacement with the 2.6Ghz CPU according to 3 asus sources is either July/August/September.

So good luck getting one after reading this review.

The Asus G70 is better because you get the same screen, better graphics and a Blu-Ray RW.
