Apple MacBook Pro line gets spec refresh

Apple has taken April by storm so far what with the iPad launch and iPhone OS 4.0 announcement, and now its gone and unleashed a spec update for the MacBook Pro.
Updated specs can be found on all of the 13-, 15- and 17-inch models, with Intel’s new Core super-speedy i5 and i7 processors landing in the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pros respectively, and Intel's Core 2 Duo in the 13-inch model.
Boosted battery life of up to 10 hours arrives on the 13-inch MacBook Pro, with 8-9 hours on the larger models, while hard drives are now available up to 500GB and solid-state drives offered in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options.
The entire range has also seen an increase in RAM, with the standard memory now starting at 4GB, and there's also a new, improved trackpad with added multitouch controls.

Do I keep my 3yr old MacBook Pro and get an iPad, or upgrade the laptop? ... Dunno, I'll probably get the iPad as my laptop keeps getting pinched by other members of the family!

I'm very happy with my 2010 13" MacBookPro.
