nintendo working on dual touchscreen controller support for the wii u

Nintendo's previous announcement stating that the Wii U will be limited to one fancy touchscreen controller at a time left us scratching our heads, which is why we're glad to hear that they're working on the problem.

Develop's source has stated that Ninty is hard at work cracking the technical issues of dual touchscreen controller support, although four-controller support looks set to be out of the question – for the time being at least.

If the rumours are true, then a major gripe with the Wii U will have been eradicated, leaving us free to waggle, swipe and hammer away at the touchscreen controller without our hapless co-op partners looking on in envy.
