It’s been almost 4 years since the first Eee PC arrived with its Linux OS for just over £200. And now Asus is trying to bring the netbook back into that budget territory with the help of a Google OS.

According to DigiTimes, the new netbook will arrive in June, but it’s unclear whether it’ll run the tablet-targeted Android 3.0 Honeycomb or the forthcoming Google Chrome OS. Either way, as long as it doesn’t have the lo-res screen that made web browsing so utterly rubbish on that original cheapo Eee PC…
