White PS3 goes up for pre-order

The UK's catching up to Japan this week, with a limited edition Classic White PS3 dropping into our Christmas stockings a little early. The stocking in question is Gamestop, which has the 320GB consoles exclusively up for pre-order now – to ship from the 8th November.

The all-white PS3 costs £250, including two white dualshock pads – but word is that a £300 festive bundle of console, controllers, PlayStation Network credit and a game is in the pipeline too.

And expect more limited edition consoles in the next few months: the Star Wars Xbox 360 with white Kinect is set to drop in early 2012, and we're on tenterhooks hoping for a GTA V console.
