Microsoft to offer cheap Xbox 360 consoles with subscription plan

Microsoft is planning to sell an Xbox 360 and Kinect bundle for a mere US$99 dollars as part of a two year subscription service, The Verge reports.

Gamers can pick up a 4GB Xbox 360 and Kinect sensor on the cheap when they take out a two year subscription costing US$15 a month – which will, thankfully, include access to Xbox Live Gold as well as potential extra streaming content.

A two year warranty will also be thrown in for good measure, and users will have the option of forking out for an early termination fee if they want to cancel their monthly payments.

There's no word yet on whether or not this bundle plan will be making its way to the UK, but we'll be sure to keep you updated.

The convenience of the package makes this a very viable and attractive prospect.

A sign that we might not be seeing the 720 for two years?
