iPad 2 gets full HD 1080p gaming

So, Apple didn’t give us an HD screen upgrade with the iPad 2. Hold back the tears – developers at Australia's Firemint have come to the rescue.
Real Racing 2 will allow gamers to output in full 1080p – with no pesky black letter-boxing – while you use the tablet’s gyroscope, accelerometer and on-screen buttons as a controller. You can even watch the racing on screen while displaying a map on your iPad. Check out the video below and let us know if you think the iPad could bring competition to the world of console gaming.

interesting... but it just seems like it could only be a novelty really. As we already have Kinect, the Wii, and Move for this kind of gaming and in the case of Kinect, its WITHOUT holding something, plus the graphics are much better as its through a console.
People already say they feel silly moving their hands, so it won't be any different for this.
Still cool though.
