LG hasn't just been showing off swanky AMOLED TVs and wowing us with brilliant touchscreens. There's also the matter of their previously announced watch phone, which is finally getting an airing here at CES.
While the Koreans are being somewhat over the top with security around the device (no one can wear it and you can't look at certain parts of the interface), we managed to grab some hands–on time with it earlier today.
As well as offering a sharp UI that matches their phones, the watch can take care of music playback, although we guarantee that you will get plenty of funny looks when you start blathering to your wrist.
Although LG says it will be out later this year, they remain coy on price and an actual date. Here's hoping they can finally make one of our dream futuristic gadgets finally hit the mainstream.
edit: we've since found out that the watch has Bluetooth 2.0 and will have a text to speak function for receiving and sending texts.
