CES 2009 – Asus unveils Eee T91 and T101 tablets

The Eee PC might have spawned a thousand copies, but now Asus is taking their bargain brand into new territory, unveiling two sharp new tablet netbook

Like its regular Eee buddies, it comes rocking an Atom chip, plus an 8.9in screen on the T91 and 10in on the T101, which will swivel and fold, letting you stroke it into submission thanks to built–in multitouch.

They look the business too. We've just managed to get a quick hands–on, which you can check out right now over in our dedicated CES blog. It's just one inch thick whem folded and weighs in at a kilo.

Whether Asus can make the much–hyped tablet PC really work remains to be seen. But we're hoping to see it playing nice when it hits the shelves in the summer.
