Sanyo Xacti 2009 line up revealed
We were just dusting off our gladrags for tonight’s Sanyo Xacti press event when these shots of the new additions to their HD sharpshooter range came in via Engadget.
Five new camcorders are to be added to its popular line with some world-firsts to look forward to. Apparently this includes Earth’s first waterproof HD camcorders, the DMX-CA9 and DMX-WH1 and the first HD camcorder to shoot 10MP still images, the DMX-CG10.
Not all the new Xacti shooters are the distinctive gun-grip shape, with the DMX-WH1 being a more sober and familiar horizontal compact.
Sanyo will be drip feeding them to us over Spring with the full HD 1920x1080 60fps DMX-HD2000 debuting first. Now word on prices yet, but we’ll try and twist a few arms tonight and get back to you.
