Nikon D7000 set to replace D90 tomorrow

The Nikon D7000 is set to be officially announced tomorrow as the replacement for the popular D90 model.

Among the expected features are a 16.2MP sensor (up from the D90's 12.3MPs), 6fps shooting and a dual SD card slot. From the photo you can see a dedicated live view switch to the right of the screen, as well as a dual mode dial on the left shoulder.

The D7000 should also take on many of the new features seen in the entry-level Nikon D3100 like Full HD video with autofocus (the D90 only manages 720p and no autofocus).

It's expected to be out in October, but we'll be briging you all the details after the announcement.
