Creative Vado HD finally heads to UK

With Kodak's Zx1 and Sony's new 'Webbies" taking a bow at CES, dinky HD camcorders are bang on trend right now. Handy then, that Creative has at last seen fit to serve up the Vado HD to us home movie hungry gadgeteers in the UK.

The previously US–only camcorder crams in 720p shooting, with 8GB of memory to store up to two hours of your HD goodies on. You'll get HDMI connectivity too, with a supplied HDMI cable offering up 1080i footage when you slap the Vado into your HDTV.

Uploading to the web is as easy as ever, with an in–built USB letting you stick your shots of the cat falling down the stairs straight onto YouTube.

Although Creative says it's making its way to your local gadget emporium now, there's no news on how much it'll set you back once you get there.
