Canon to release mirrorless camera

Canon wasn’t just sitting on its laurels while all the other big names went mirrorless, it was working on its own mirrorless camera. Now the lads over at Egami have gone and blown the surprise by unearthing a patent for a mirrorless Canon camera lens.
So far we’ve had several contenders in the mirrorless camera race, from the Sony NEX-5 and Fujifilm X-Pro 1, to the Pentax K-01 and the Nikon X810. Now Canon will be joining the race with its system that fits the leaked 18-45mm f/3.5-5.6 mirrorless camera lens.
So it's time to wait in hope Canon’s mirrorless camera is compatible with all other Canon lenses – and that we can afford it.
