Nikon D4 DSLR hits UK shelves on February 16 for £4,800

Nikon has unveiled the long awaited successor to its D3S – the £4,800 D4 DSLR – and its spec sheet set is sure to get any photographer drooling all over their lens collection.

The Nikon D4 will offer amazing low light performance (thanks to its new 16.2MP FX-format CMOS sense and Expeed 3 image processing engine) and will power on and snap away in an a blistering 0.012 seconds.

1080p video recording at 30fps is the icing on this incredibly delicious yet wallet-destroying cake, which is set to hit our shores on February 16th. We cannot wait.
