Bose goes wireless with AE2w Bluetooth headphones

Bose cuts the cord with its first set of Bluetooth-equipped headphones

Bose has announced its first set of stereo wireless headphones, the AE2w wireless headphones.

Essentially a pair of AE2 over-ear cans kitted out with a removeable Bluetooth dongle, the AE2w headphones pack in the same Triport “acoustic structure” technology as their sister headphones – three small ports in the earcups that purportedly deliver “more lifelike sound.” The AE2w headphones are optimised for use with the iPad and are compatible with A2DP-enabled Bluetooth devices.

The Bose AE2w wireless headphones will be available from May 14th, priced £200.
