The BlackBerry Thunder has already leaked out on etailer site Expansys. And now it appears we’ve got a date to go with those official pics.
According to the tech heads at Electric Pig, the cell will take a bow on October 8, tying in with US network Verizon’s plans to launch it Stateside.
Then there are some new specs to contend with. While Expansys didn’t let slip anything about a snapper, new rumours suggest we’ll be getting a 3.2MP camera, as well as over–the–air music downloads via Rhapsody, as well as a MicroSD slot. Take that Apple.
We’re onto our people at RIM and as ever have our ears to the ground for any more news about what will surely be the ultimate competition for Apple’s iPhone 3G.
