Halo: Reach dated for 14 September

Halo: Reach, the next instalment in the Halo saga, is heading to the Xbox 360 on 14 September in the west, and the day after that in Japan.
A September launch for the shooter was always on the cards, and an AP press release on Yahoo! Finance has given it the official stamp.
Halo: Reach’s online beta mode was briefly available earlier this month to Xbox Live players who had purchased the previous Halo game, Halo: ODST, so a lot of you will have already given the game a spin. In fact, the beta attracted over 2.7 million players, who collectively logged 16 million hours of blasting and maiming (more than 1.1 billion kills!) over the 18-day test.
So it’s pretty safe to say that Halo: Reach will prove pretty popular this autumn. We're already exercising our thumbs in anticipation.
