Golfing guru helps you perfect your swing in new Wii game
Golfers will know that perfecting your swing is one of the big hurdles standing between you and an Albatross. And nobody wants a triple bogey.
The thing is, a golf coach is pricey – a personal lesson with Nick Faldo's coach David Leadbetter would set you back around $3,500, plus a flight to Florida. Ouch.
Luckily Leadbetter's knowledge has been piled into a game for Nintendo Wii so you can get all the advice from the swing guru in the comfort of your living room.
"My Personal Golf Trainer" is the first time a professional-standard golf swing simulator has been available to the public for home use, and will set you back just £99.
Using the Wiimote in the same way you would in Wii Sports, golfers give their best swing and receive advice as they progress – you can even add on the Balance Board to get tips on posture and weight transfer.
You can bash your way through golf balls in a Driving Range level, or play 18 holes with Leadbetter by your side, but it's probably worth noting it's described as a swing trainer rather than a fully-fledged game.
If you're serious about upping your handicap, this game may just help, and with video instructions to watch as well you'll be waving goodbye to those Bogeys before you know it.
My Personal Golf Trainer is available now, and if you're a golf fan, be sure to watch out for May issue of Stuff Magazine for Stuff's guide to golf – from clubs to shoes.
