New Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer released

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3, this time focussing on the game’s engine. Called AnvilNext, it’s capable of showing over 2,000 non-player characters on screen at one time (which should make for some epic battle scenes) and rendering sea battles where water and weather effects have to be taken into account.

Assassin’s Creed 3 will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 on 31st October.
