BBC launches new iPlayer Radio service

The BBC has officially launched its new iPlayer Radio service across PC, mobile and tablet devices in a bid to pioneer the world of on-demand radio content.

The new BBC iPlayer Radio service allows listeners to tune in on the move via the brand new iPlayer Radio app as well as offering the ability to catch up with your favourite shows via on-demand content, clips, videos and downloads.

Other handy features include an alarm function which will get you out of bed to the soothing warblings of your favourite DJ, as well as programme reminders and track sharing functions to let your friends in on your favourite shows.

The new BBC iPlayer Radio app is available on iOS via the App Store from today, with an Android version of the app due in the not-too-distant future.

You can use Unotelly to stream iPlayer from the States. I'm using it on UK to stream US Netflix. It supports iPlayer too.
