Hot on the heels of the retina-display-rocking iPad 3 spotted at CES, the internet is now rife with rumours that Apple's next-gen tablet has entered production in China.
Macotakara reports that Foxconn and Pegatron Technology have started churning out iPad 3 units, potentially featuring Retina Displays provided by Sharp.
A similar form factor to the iPad 2 is also reported (matching up with descriptions of the iPad 3 spotted at CES), although the magnets for the smart cover will supposedly be in slightly different positions on the iPad 3. So you'll have to buy another load of accessories.
Given the pace at which these rumours are appearing, we're expecting to see them solidify into definitive information very soon. We'll keep you posted – as always – when they do.
