According to, Apple is planning to bring more high–end game developers into the fray, giving them an exclusive area to flog their titles. US reports suggest it will only be available to apps costing $20 or more. So around £15 in real money.

It would hardly be a surprise, with Apple pushing the Touch and iPhone's gaming credentials and the imminent arrival of Nokia's Ovi Store and RIM's BlackBerry World.

Who knows, this could all be part of the big iPhone 3.0 announcement tomorrow.
