Both US carriers Verizon and AT&T are set to sell 4G LTE versions of Apple’s upcoming iPad 3 according to WSJ’s sources “familiar with the matter”.

4G iPad 3 rumours have been making the rounds for a while now (along with rumours of a quad-core A6 processor and a retina display), although we strongly expect the UK version of the iPad 3 will arrive sans 4G, seeing as the  infrastructure won’t be hitting our shores any time soon.

We reported on a possible March 7 release date for Apple’s next-gen tablet yesterday, but as no official information has been released you’re welcome to catch up on all the gossip with our Apple iPad 3 rumour round-up for the time being.
