Rumour – iPhone 5 production has started

Industry sources in Taiwan have claimed that Pegatron, a Chinese manufacturer, has kicked off production of the iPhone 5.
The company's Shanghai factory, one of the sites in China where the new iPad is manufactured, has begun assembling the devices for Apple. If true, it suggests a launch for the iPhone 5 isn't too far off; an October announcement is strongly tipped.
Very little is known about the iPhone 5, thanks to Apple's love of secrecy, but recent rumours point to it having a thinner screen and using minuscule nano SIM cards.
