Apple testing iPhone 5 with A5X chip?

Apple iPhone 5

iPhone 5 rumours are like buses – you wait around all day and then they all come in at once. As well as the report that the iPhone 5 would come sporting a 4in screen and unibody redesign, Apple is said to be testing iPhone 5 prototypes packing variant A5X processors.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple has packed its iPhone 5 prototypes into iPhone 4S bodies to throw nosey parkers off the scent – though the actual iPhone 5 is expected to come with an all-new design.

The A5X chip was specifically designed to power the new iPad's Retina Display, so the model being used in the iPhone 5 is a variant model – known internally as the N96. The new iPhone is also set to come packing 1GB of RAM – again, just like the new iPad.

well its like all rumours. yes rumours. thats all they are. weve been down this road before.

like on the 4s. all the hype. then big disapointment. so until i see iphone 5 or new iphone in the shops. then i will believe it.

i think sometimes these rumours are created by apple themselves to drum up hype.
