iOS 5.1 beta 2 developers photo stream iPhone 4 iPhone 4S update

iOS 5 is a glorious thing, full of hidden secrets and neatly integrated features like iCloud and AirPlay mirroring. But there are still some niggles – first on the wanted list is battery life – the Ace of Spades – and although the first iOS 5.1 update should have helped a little, we're still waiting for a miracle on this one.

Apple has just released a beta version of the next 5.1 update to developers though, promising to clear up a few other minor bugbears. Like the new feature that allows you to individually delete photos in Photo Stream for iCloud users – the original iOS 5 gave you the choice of having all your snaps in Photo Stream or none at all.

There are a few planned bug fixes elsewhere in the iPhone and iPad's OS but if you want to see exactly what's in store, head over to Apple's iOS Dev Center to see for yourself.
