Beats Electronics has already secured US$60m funding for its music streaming service named Project Daisy – and now it’s got Apple interested.

Reuters is reporting that Apple CEO Tim Cook met up with Beats CEO Jimmy Iovine to discuss Project Daisy. The two did not discuss specifics of the deal but Cook showed interest in the business model.

What HTC, who has a long running partnership with Beats Audio, thinks of this is something we’ll be looking into.

Steve Jobs reportedly told Iovine that he didn’t want to pay the record companies enough, and thought the price would come down.
