Apple adds new features to Safari

Among the slew of MacBook Air refreshes, a new generation Retina Display-toting MacBook Pro and new features for OS X Mountain Lion, Apple has revealed that its Safari browser will be upgraded with some new iCloud-integrated features.

As with Google Chrome, Safari users will be able to make use of a unified search feature which covers the web, your history and bookmarks.

Plus a new feature called iCloud Tabs will also let you see the tabs that you have open on each of your iDevices, allowing seamless uninterrupted surfing whether you're at your desk or browsing on your iDevice.

I'm sorry but no matter how much I love the iMac I have, trying to improve on safari in such small increments is little more than trying to polish a freshly-laid turd.

The only turd you can polish is a coprolite: a fossil. Safari doesn't even have that capability.

Other browsers - especially Google Chrome - are far more advanced, easier to navigate and offer far more flexibility than this steaming pile of shite will ever do.
