Another SIM–free iPhone unveiled – so when do we get ours?

Pining and showing sheer desperation aren't exactly attractive qualities. But we're not ashamed to say that we've slipped into bad teenage angst habit

Having already shown its face in Hong Kong and been peeked over in Spain, the Apple blower minus the hefty contract has just reared its head in Taiwan. The price tag is hefty, with the 8GB coming in at around £600 and the 16GB model hitting the £700 mark.

That's certainly not cheap, but surely now Apple's rolling it out across the globe, it's time we got in on the action. And with a Spanish version already out there, it can't be that hard for them to bite the bullet and bring it to Blighty.

Could this be one of the big announcements at Macworld in January? We hope so. What do you think? Is an unlocked iPhone worth it? Tell us what you think in the comments section.
