Android powered Sony Walkman and satnav on the way?

We’ve already got Acer planning an Android netbook plus whispers from Motorola and Samsung and plans for some 18 market-bound Android handsets c

But in a very interesting development, it seems that Sony is about to join the Android fray by releasing two Google OS packing devices – a Walkman PMP and a satnav.

Word on Japanese websites this week suggests these new Android devices are due to hit the market some time in 2010. Details on them are pretty scant, but Sony’s relationship with Android has been described as an “open secret”, paving the way for speculation pointing to more Sony open-source goodies in the pipeline.
