Saddle up the light cycle – Google's new tablet OS wants to take you for a ride

What could be better than a brand-new tablet OS for all these new Tegra 2 tablets we’re seeing at CES? How about a a brand-new, (unofficially) Tron-themed tablet OS? Oh, yes.

Google’s new Android version – “built entirely for tablet” – is Honeycomb 3.0, and it’s got the future written all over it. There are shadows of the phone OS it’s evolved from, but make no mistake: this is a newly chiselled UI and it could be the answer to our Android tablet niggles.
