The Kindle Fire may finally be making its way to the UK, as Amazon prepares to roll out its Android Appstore in the UK and Europe.
According to AllThingsD, Amazon is gearing up to launch its Appstore in Europe, and will "start accepting submissions from developers soon."
Although Amazon's Kindle Store and Lovefilm have the media side of things covered, its own-brand Appstore is the third pillar in its Kindle Fire strategy. The impending launch of the Appstore in the UK suggests that Amazon's budget tablet will be reaching the UK and Europe sooner rather than later.
Given that Amazon is reportedly preparing the Kindle Fire 2 for release this summer, it's looking increasingly like Amazon's second-generation Kindle Fire tablet will be launching across the UK, Europe and the UK in 2012.
