So, introducing the Navigon 2150 Max sat nav, dressed to kill in high-gloss black and sporting a seductively long list of abilities, tied to a wallet-friendly price tag.

Like its older sibling, the 2110 Max, it gets a roomy 4.3in widescreen and runs the tasty looking Navigator 7 with its 'Lane Assistant Pro' that'll make noodle soup out of Spaghetti Junction thanks to its 3D lane maps that tell you which white line to plonk your wheels between.

In generous addition it also packs in text-to-speech for announcing road names and Bluetooth for a spot of handsfree calling.

It costs a mere £230 - and for 40 quid extra you can even throw in TMC traffic avoidance. Jam-free summer motoring here we come.
