Nokia handsets have been leaking like crazy since the Nokia C5 announcement, and now we have the new N Series flagship handset, the N8 snapped in the flesh... apparently.

Following the leaks of the C6 and the X9, the N8 is said to pack Symbian^3 OS, a 3.5 capacitive touchscreen, 12 megapixel camera and be capable of 720p HD video recording.

From the pictures we can also guess it'll be a touchscreen handset with no QWERTY slide out, boast a Carl Zeiss lens with Xenon flash, HDMI output and a front facing video camera too.

We're just a little sceptical as the whether we can trust this. The website the pics have come from, IT168, is referring to the handset as the N98, when we all know Nokia has ditched that old naming convention.

Still, maybe it's an old name that's stuck, and this handset is being prepped to right all the niggling wrongs of the N97.

What do you think – does the N8 sound like a good move for Nokia? Let us know below.
