Taiwanese site ePrice has reportedly revealed the specs of Sony's rumoured 20.7MP Xperia i1 'Honami' handset, which looks set to give the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom a run for their money.
The 1/2.3in 20.7 ExmorRS sensor is the same size as that found in the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and actual point and shoot cameras, and it'll also feature Sony's own "G-Lens", which we're hoping also has Nokia Lumia 1020-like optical image stabilisation.
Imaging isn't the only class that the Sony Xperia i1 appears to pass with flying colours. It reportedly sports a 5in 1080p display as well as Qualcomm's mighty Snapdragon 800 processor (which is also found in the Xperia Z Ultra) as well as 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and a hefty 3,000mAh battery with Stamina Mode.
And of course, it'll feature the same water and dust resistance as its existing Xperia cousins. Could the end of the compact camera be right around the corner?
