The list goes on and on, so it's clear that Nikon wasn't pulling any punches with the D600. And despite the fact that the price is higher than its rival, the Canon EOS 6D, it can be found for well below its RRP.&nbsp;</p> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-pricing"><legend>Pricing</legend><div class="field field-type-number-float field-field-test-price"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> RM7,298.00 </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-price-from"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> 0 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-ratings"><legend>Ratings</legend><div class="field field-type-hcmreviewrating-rating field-field-overall-rating"> <div class="field-label">Overall rating:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="hcmrating-default">10 stars</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>Review Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Full Frame Snapping </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Nikon may have chosen not to reposition the D600 in its pro line-up, but there's nothing remotely amateur about the way this camera looks and feels. Everything about it is sturdy and solid, with the screen protector on the main LCD especially shouting that this snapper means business.&nbsp;</p> <p>And the photo-taking performance doesn't disappoint. The D600 is particularly adept in decent light, laying down vibrant colours and ultra-fine detail, aided by accurate autofocus. Even up to ISO 6400 noise is reasonably well controlled, and sharpness is excellent.&nbsp;</p> <p>As ever, Nikon's approach to controls is quite different to Canon's, and neither is right or wrong – you'll get used to either. That said, the D600's video record button does seem oddly placed to us. The extra SD slot is handy for mirrored back-up shooting or saving RAW and JPG files to separate cards though. The built-in flash won't win any illumination awards but it's useful for a spot of fill-in light on a backlit scene.&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" alt="" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nikon-D600-review-back.jpg?1372362862" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-review-rating"><legend>Review Rating</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-review-score"> <div class="field-label">Score:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> 0 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> </fieldset> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-verdict"> <div class="field-label">Verdict:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>A feature-packed full-framer that's ready and willing for action&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-preview"> <div class="field-label">Preview:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Disabled </div> </div> </div> http://www.stuff.tv/my/d600/nikon-d600/review-0#comments D600 Nikon System Cameras Sun, 17 Feb 2013 03:43:48 +0000 Erna Mahyuni 1424397 at http://www.stuff.tv
