Rumours of the LG G3 S (G3 Mini) has surfaced again, and going by what a Russian reseller has put up on its website, the unit’s looking very much like its bigger smartphone sibling, the LG G3.

Not only have images been leaked, some information about the device, as well as its pricing and availability have also been declared by Svyaznoy, which happens to be one of the biggest independent phone sellers in Russia.

Most of the alleged specs (such as its 5in size, 720p touchscreen and 8-megapixel back camera) released by the source seem pretty much spot on with what was leaked from China, but some other information conflict.

The earlier leak mentioned that it may feature a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a smaller 2,300mAh battery, but Svyaznoy highlights that it is powered by a 2540 mAh battery, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, and paired with 1GB of RAM. There’s no telling which one of these sources hold more validity to what's to come.

In addition to that, it claims that the G3 S will sport an Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, an expandable 8GB of internal storage space, as well as a 1.3MP front camera.

The unit sold in Russia will not support LTE and dual-SIM functionality but given that these features are highly sought after on our end of the world, it’s likely that LG could include them.

Oh, and did we mention that the G3 S is already up for pre-order on the Svyaznoy website priced at RUB 13,990 (RM1285)? That’s a steal as compared to the full sized LG G3 – S$868 (RM2227) for the 16GB model and S$928 (RM2380) for the 32GB unit
