Part of their efforts to once again pick up steam in the mobile arena, BlackBerry recently released their BlackBerry Z3 budget smartphone to the local masses.
Running on Blackberry 10 OS, it's armed with 1.5GB of RAM, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8230 processor and features a 5MP rear and 1.1MP front camera. At RM699, that's a pretty impressive hardware setup for the 5in smartphone. Plus, the phone itself is fairly slim but still solid feeling as well.
The BlackBerry Z3 doesn’t forgo BlackBerry’s staple features either; with their iconic BlackBerry Hub and BBM features built in.
The Hub keeps all your updates and text messages all in one place and prioritises particular messages and info to your preferences, inclusive of instant previews to your BBM, SMS and emails.
Malaysian users will also get access to local content on the Z3, with a special set of BBM Stickers and Channels featuring Upin and Ipin on top of updates from local brands, communities and opinion leaders.
The BlackBerry Z3 will retail for RM699, and will be available for purchase from 7 July.
