Looks like the BlackBerry Q5 will be hitting our shores pretty soon and in three different colours from the picture shown.
BLACKBERRY QWERTY RESURGENCE?
According to a press invite we were sent, the official launch will be on 4th of July which isn't too far away so BlackBerry fans, especially those on a budget who've been waiting for a less pricier BB10 device, will have much to rejoice about. As good as the Z10 and the Q10 are, the price they're going for puts it out of the price range for the majority of BlackBerry Curve users. The matte finishing on the Q5 looks real good and the device is also most likely to have a smaller screen compared to the Q10. The only thing that most people will be asking though is price. There's no official price for Malaysia yet but if rumours are to be believed, the Q5 should be retailing at £300 SIM-free in the UK. That should put the local price at around the RM1500 range, much lower than the Q5 but not quite as "low-cost" as we'd expect. This are all rumours though so until we get the full details on the 4th of July, it's still speculative.
What do you think would be a great price for the BlackBerry Q5? Stay tuned to this space as we cover the launch.
