They weren’t kidding when they said the Equinox is an all-in-one camera. It consists of a square “core” made up of a specific sensor and mount pairing for more modules to be affixed onto. Theoretically, you can upgrade it from a compact to an all-out professional kit.

Conceptualised by South Korean designers Dae jin Ahn and Chun hyun Park, this nifty snapper could save us a lot of money. Or we might spend a lot more, if it actually existed.

Twist to activate this oddball of a camera and instantly transfer photos you take with it to mobile devices via Bluetooth.

Dreamt up by Vincent Sall, the Leica X3 is a cross between a monocle and a vintage Leica camera. It packs discrete controls with all the information displayed handily in its viewfinder, or you can also choose to look through the viewfinder with an external device. Come on Leica, make it happen already.
