The Mythical Beast is a remote-controlled fire-breathing dragon. And it flies.
Is that a dragon?
Nope, it’s an elongated frog. We kid, it’s obviously a dragon, especially since we've never met a frog with wings. (Not that we've ever met a dragon either.)
And this flies?
Of course. Not only can this remote-controlled dragon reach speeds of 112kph in the air, it breathes fire too, thanks to a propane tank and igniter built deep in its gaping jaws.
Sweet, I can’t wait to fry some heads!
Now, now, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. With 1m of range on its (literal) firepower, someone could get hurt really bad, by accident or not. Fortunately for your worst enemy, this dragon’s makers foresaw the potential danger, so the flame-spewing feature is automatically disabled in air is only possible on the ground. It's definitely still dangerous, though.
Crap, why would I want it then?
You can always set people’s toes on fire instead, we suppose, or start a barbecue in a truly theatrical way.
Don’t be sad, it still makes for an intimidating sight in the sky with a 2.7m wingspan amidst all those boring RC planes, and you can give people a good scare by flying it by real close. The thrust that spews from its back at 805 kph is no laughing matter either. While it can’t flap those ginormous wings, it sort of makes up for it with its glowing red LED eyes, and a head that swivels in the direction it moves for added realism.
Okay, I guess I could settle
Not so fast, moneybags. You’ll need US$60,000 (RM198,150) for the privilege of owning a dragon. And to be like Daenerys Targaryen, you’ll need US$180,000 (RM594,450). We don’t know about you, but we’ll probably have more luck locating an actual dragon than being able to justify blowing that amount on a fake one. Oh well.
