This robotic version of Godzilla is one of the most memorable iterations of the monster, given its distinctive metallic appearance. It’s also one of Godzilla’s most formidable foes, having defeated him on many an occasion.

Monstrous feature: since it’s essentially man-made, it can be repaired and upgraded, leading to two other versions of the original - MechaGodzilla 2 and Kiryu.

Birthed through a process of “celestial fission” in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, a result of Godzilla cells being exposed to intense radiation from a black hole, SpaceGodzilla was born and heads to earth to wreak havoc (can’t blame him, it’s in his genes).

Monstrous feature: psychic attacks. In space, everything’s a go apparently.
