Xbox One controller revealed – old dog, new tricks

Microsoft's new Xbox One controller packs the same great design with enough new moves to get our gamer senses tingling

The new Xbox One has finally been revealed, and with it the new Xbox One controller.

Buzzy triggers

Resembling the Xbox 360 controller our hands have grown to know and love, the Xbox One controller features over 40 new design innovations according to Microsoft, which includes a more accurate D-pad (huzzah!), precision thumb sticks and an integrated, sleeker battery compartment.

The triggers also now have vibrating impulse technology, which is a fancy way of saying that they actually vibrate themselves, paving the way for interesting force feedback from gunfire and in-game car pedals.

Mystery button

This could very well be a share button, similar to the one on the PS4 controller, which could, potentially, let you share and stream your games with your friends.

We'll have to wait till E3 next month to know for certain, but from what we've seen so far, we're already salivating at what the Xbox One has to offer...
