Between 7-9 April, thousands of pop culture aficionados will descend en masse upon the Dubai World Trade Centre to get their fill of a veritable cornucopia of nerdy delights.

The Middle East Film & Comic Con is back, and we’ve put together the ultimate vade mecum to help ensure you miss none of the action.

Over the next few days we'll be giving you our recommendations of what to check out over the whole geektastic weekend.

Fabian Nicieza

One half of the team responsible for bringing Deadpool into the world, Nicieza is an industry veteran with over 1000 comic book writing credits to his name. He’ll be on hand to answer all your burning questions.

Whilce Portacio

Whilce Portacio was one of the original founders of then-upstart publisher Image Comics back in 1992, as well as a co-creator of the X-Man Bishop. Yup, those are some beefy industry credentials indeed.

Beth Sotelo

While she has coloured for the likes of Top Cow, Marvel and DC, Sotelo’s most prolific work was done under the direction of the late, great Michael Turner for his independant Aspen Comics imprint.

Simone Legno

he brains behind the internationally reknowned tokidoki brand that has taken over the pop-culture spectrum will be at MEFCC for signings, workshops and to meet and talk to his legions of adoring fans.

Edwin Huang

Fans of Street Fighter comics rejoice! Edwin Huang is the illustrator working on the newly launched Street Fighter Unlimited comic and will be taking comissions and selling original work as well as signed merchandise.
