LaCie's portable Fuel hard drive adds a giant 1TB of storage to your iPhone and iPad

64GB just not cutting it for you? Lacie has you more than covered

Lacie has revealed the Fuel – a portable wireless hard drive which will beef up your iDevice's storage by a whole terabyte.

The Fuel is able to create its own Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing for easy cable-free access from your iPad, iPhone or Mac.

It's also got AirPlay streaming for beaming content to an Apple TV-connected telly or speakers, and files can be accessed via Seagate's collaborative free media app.

A ten hour battery life, USB 3.0 for zippy transfers and Dropbox support seal off the specsheet, and it can be yours in the very near future for around £170.

CES 2014 - all of the biggest news so far

Why not just get a wireless hard drvie reader and you add the storage of your hard drives to your phone, tablets and even your PC? It will save cash for you. I received a RAVPower 5-in-1 filehub as gift at Chritsmas. I use it to stream the contents stored on my hard drives and SD cards to my iPhone and iPad. And I just found it works well with my Google Chromcast.
