The JVC Picsio GC-FM1 certainly adds a bit of swankiness to its design compared to its competitors that you'll either love or hate, but it does impress where it matters – with an 8 megapixel sensor for stills and full 1080p HD video capture.

Shooting straight to SDHC memory card, you can choose how much footage you want to capture on this little cam, but you will have to fork out for a card separately as there's none included in the box.

Other things worth noting are its digital image stabilisation to banish any signs of shaky hands, a quick YouTube upload process and 96 minutes of filming from a single charge.

There's no dates on this as yet, but Electricpig is reporting this pocket camcorder will hit shops for around £170.
