If you'd told us you enjoy photo editing before we tried iPhoto, we'd have considered you a bit strange. But brushing in fixes, tints, enhancements and effects with a fingertip is truly joyful – especially on a Retina Display iPad – and creating collage 'Journals' for yourself and friends is addictive.
The only problem Apple needs to fix with iPhoto is that it won't sync with iPhoto on your Mac just yet but hopefully this is imminent and it is a universal app so you can get it on iPhone and iPod Touch at least.
Still, it's both powerful and fun and you can work with really hi-res images: up to 36.5MP to be exact and you can stream AirPlay slideshows to your Apple TV if you're that kind of show-off.
Powerful and fun, iPhoto achieves the impossible by making you enjoy on-the-fly photo editing
