Asus wants us to drop all our work and start gaming...

...and with the new Asus ROG GL5522, that might just happen

While it’s always a good idea to stop work and start gaming, we can’t do that because our work involves gaming.

Confused? We are too. Nevermind all that, pay attention to what we’re telling you about the GL5522. The ROG GL552 is an attractive little weapon. The design of the GL5522 is inspired by the F-22 stealth fighter (very cool) and there’s also some intricate Mayan detailing above that beautiful backlit keyboard, but more about the keyboard later. No? Okay fine.

1.8mm round

The keyboard on the Asus ROG GL5522 is a wonderful thing. Travel time between the keys is a well, key factor when it comes to efficient results in the gaming world.

If the keys are too shallow you end up with a perception of not hitting one and end up hitting it twice (It gets annoying after the third time). But this one has 1.8mm of travel time and highlighted WASD keys. It’s a solid, one-piece construction claims Asus.

Bloody Hoarder

It would be a shame to have such a great keyboard but not have enough space for all your games. But wait, you always know something positive comes after such a sentence don’t you? Yes, the GL55 will surely be happy to accommodate all your games.

It’s got up to 2TB HDD storage along with an optional up to 256GB M.2 solid-state disk. This can put hoarders to shame.

Upgrading the laptop is also made easy thanks to  the slide-off upgrade panel. The panel offers instant access to fit an M.2 SSD, a bigger hard drive or more memory whenever you want.

A quad-core 4th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics with Microsoft DirectX 12 support makes this a mean fighter. There’s 8GB of RAM and GameFirst III technology. You can prioritise the flow of game data across your network and try to get lag out of the way.

The 15.6in Full HD display has a matte-black finish with 178-degree viewing angles so you can game even while your girlfriend/boyfriend tugs you to bed. There’s also SonicMaster technology along with ROG AudioWizard services that take care of the audio and also help drain out their voice. What? They’re leaving you? More time to game then. Yours for ₹70,999.
