Perhaps this is the HTC Incredible S with ICS, or Incredible S 2, or maybe the HTC Incredible Super – whatever the name, it's an Android 4.0 HTC handset that hasn’t been seen before and could be announced at MWC 2012.
Yes, we know, we were also wondering why it has dedicated buttons while running Ice Cream Sandwich. Then we realised Google is taking its sweet time with the OS and if HTC wants to get a new Incredible handset out there it needs to hedge its bets and keep buttons for now.
That means the new Incredible S – assuming that's what it is – will likely launch with Gingerbread, but should come with some impressive hardware including a 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM and an 8MP snapper.
Alright, not that impressive on paper. But this will be HTC’s new lower end handset, since the quad-core HTC Edge and super thin HTC Ville will be assuming their places at the top of the HTC table. All will be revealed at MWC 2012 later this month.
