Sky Go on Ice Cream Sandwich is fast-approaching, on-demand content now available

The broadcasting giant adds a few tasty features to its latest Android app update, with good news for Ice Cream Sandwich owners to boot

Sky has announced that its Sky Go app will be compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich devices including the Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Nexus by the end of July, which will be welcome news for the 10 percent of users currently rocking Ice Cream Sandwich.

In the meantime however, Sky Go users on Android can enjoy the benefits of an update which includes support for hundreds of on-demand movies, in addition to content from Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Living and Sky Arts 1.

Organised viewers can also now keep on top of their Sky package and bill from within the Sky Go app as an extra bonus. Head on over to the Google Play Store to download Sky Go now, or hit the update button if you're rocking it already. Happy viewing.
